Week Six action in the Mitre 10 Cup:
Over half way through the season and the play offs picture is getting clearer, but there are still plenty of great matches to come before then. Otago host Canterbury this week in what is the oldest inter-union fixture in the country, while Waikato will look to continue their run of form when they take on Bay of Plenty for the Chiefs Country Cup.
Waikato’s Sevu Reece leads the standings for the Duane Monkley Medal player of the season, with 8 points, one ahead of Canterbury’s Luke Romano and Dillon Hunt (North Harbour) and Melani Nanai (Auckland) on six.
