Conditions were so windy in Oamaru that all of Wanganui&#8217;s 40 points came from tries.<\/p>\n<p>Wairarapa Bush travelled to Westport and beat the home team 14-13 in a thriller. Sadly for Buller stalwart Phil Beveridge he wasn&#8217;t able to celebrate his 150th game for the Union with a win.<\/p>\n<p>Other sides to claim big wins were Thames Valley, who beat East Coast 50-13 while Horowhenua Kapiti beat Poverty Bay 54-26.
