Winners of these two games will play off for 5<sup>th<\/sup>&amp; 6th<\/li>\n<li>Semi-final losers play off for 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&amp; 4<sup>th<\/sup>; Semi-final winners play off for 1<sup>st<\/sup>&amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> (the Cup Final)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Top 5 teams qualify for the 2017 National Sevens<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SEEDINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The seedings have been determined as follows;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finishing position at the 2016 National Sevens;<\/li>\n<li>Any teams that did not participate at the 2016 National Sevens will be ranked based on their finishing position at the previous year\u2019s Central Region Sevens; and<\/li>\n<li>Any teams that did not participate at the previous year\u2019s Central Region Sevens will be ranked based on finishing position in the most recent relevant domestic 15s competition (with the Premier Competition ranked above the Heartland Championship).<\/li>\n<li>In 2017 only the two additional Women\u2019s teams will be allocated seedings as follows: Central 4 (11<sup>th<\/sup> seed) and Northern 5 (12<sup>th<\/sup> seed).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s tournament is one of three qualifying events for the National Tournament, with the Northern Region qualifiers in Cambridge on Sunday and the South Island tournament in Timaru a fortnight ago. Tasman (Men\u2019s) and Canterbury (women\u2019s) won the Southern Sevens qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>This Saturday\u2019s Central tournament at Playford Park is live on Sky TV all afternoon from 3pm on
