{"id":6358,"date":"2017-09-16T16:44:54","date_gmt":"2017-09-16T04:44:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rugbyheartland.co.nz\/wp\/?p=6358"},"modified":"2017-09-19T16:04:01","modified_gmt":"2017-09-19T04:04:01","slug":"week-4-results-south-canterbury-continue-to-march-forward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rugbyheartland.co.nz\/wp\/2017\/09\/16\/week-4-results-south-canterbury-continue-to-march-forward\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 4 Results &#8211; South Canterbury continue to march forward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"twitter-follow-button\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RedefinedRugby\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Follow @RedefinedRugby<\/a><\/p>\n<p>South Canterbury continued their tremendous season when scoring three converted tries to beat last season&#8217;s Meads Cup champions Wanganui 21-17 in Timaru in their Mitre 10 Heartland championship game.<\/p>\n<p>It was some compensation for a late loss in their round-robin game in Wanganui last year.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t the only shock of the day as Buller suffered their first loss when going down to Thames Valley 7-26 in Paeroa.<\/p>\n<p>North Otago had to hold out against a fast-finishing King Country side before taking a 28-26 win in Oamaru. North Otago did make the most of a King Country player being sin-binned to score their final try and a penalty goal while he was off the field in the last quarter.
